The Johnson County Democratic Women’s organization is alive and kicking! We are an integral part of the resurgence of the Democratic Party in Johnson County Kansas!

Come join our growing membership as we:

• Encourage more active

  current issues.
  
• Encourage full participation
  of women at every level of the Democratic Party.

The JCDW meets the fourth Monday of each month at
Café 75 (7425 Quivira Road)
in Shawnee at 6:00 p.m.

Membership in the Johnson County Democratic Women only requires that you be a registered Democrat.

Membership: $25 / year

Associate Membership: $10 / year
(Democrats who live outside
of Johnson County Kansas,
spouses of members, etc…)

Interim Committees are now in the process of meeting.

Of special interest, the House Appropriations Committee met August 24th and 25th. They reviewed selected school budgets, KPERS, Judicial Branch budgets and caseload review.

There is a feeling from many on the Appropriations Committee that schools should have deeper cuts.
